Open the front door and enter the vaulted entrance area that is lit by the large Oriel window. A custom-built open birch staircase takes you up to the first floor whilst a right turn leads you to the ground floor wet room, minimalist with first class fittings. Our thought for the main living area was to keep everything as open as possible, making the most of the supurb light that streams into the house throughout the day. Under foot are limestone flagstones, constantly warmed by the under-floor heating system. Brilliant views are framed by two sets of timber folding doors. A lounge with two sofas is supplemented with a wall mounted HDTV that remains discrete. However, when evening comes and you have witnessed the sun dropping into the distant Atlantic Ocean - the system dominates as you would expect latest technology to do. A Scandinavian wood burner completes the cosy feel. |
